Promega is a global leader in providing innovative solutions and technical support to life scientists. The new UK HQ, designed by Architecture PLB will include a modern training room and applications laboratory, flexible social and training spaces, a conference facility, high quality offices and a gym and wellness centre.

AAS Projects & Design were appointed by Amiri Construction to design, survey and install the acoustic timber panelling to the ceilings and walls and beneath the reception roof lantern. We also provided the stretched fabric feature walls. For the acoustic slatted ceiling and walls we installed solid steamed beech timber slats with a Camira fabric backing. The stretched fabric wall design incorporated shadow gaps, forming triangular and brick pattern design features. Within the gym we installed a flexible shelving unit – As there was little free space on flanking walls for acoustic products, we incorporated acoustic slatted panelling within the shelving unit to help control the reverberation within the room.

Products Installed: Solid steamed beech acoustic slatted ceiling and wall panels together with stretched fabric linings to feature walls.
